1. For some of the SST gribs on the tsuzumi server, e.g. 1960, the variable name is PVMW instead of TMP. Is that OK? GSM seems to have no problems with these gribs.

sst files older than 2002 have kpds5 value of 139 (PVMW), instead of 11 (TMP). I think it's okay but i don't know why. Hideki

I think ECMWF uses kpds5=139 for SST and we have a small patch in the code that both 139 and 11 are recogrnized as SST.

Can you make available the global predicted SST which you use for GSM seasonal forecast at this website for download? I am not to access the ECPC server but would like to run GSM forecast from my own machines. Thank you.

Would you like to have the SSTs for just one or two months, or would you like them every month? We can provide them on a one-time basis, but we are not yet set up to provide them regularly.

rsm run error

Dear RSM USERS,
I have compiled rsm on intel machine with ifort compiler succesfully. I have started my experiment with my own domain. when i ran the rsim script the fallwong error i am facing. I gave ulimit -s unlimitied. Please help me to solve this problem.

You do not have sufficient memory or stack space in your computer. Look into the ulimit command of your machine and see whether it is working properly. You may have to talk to your computer administrator to change the hard limit placed. If this does not solve the problem, you need to try compiling the program in 64-bits. It depends n the compiler but you may check the fortran manual to see how this is done by adding compiler options.
